Motherhood Invites Us to Come Home to Us – Here’s to Being YOU Again!
Somewhere between sleepless nights, work deadlines, and endless to-do lists, it’s easy to lose touch with you. Not the mom, the partner, the organizer, the do-it-all woman—but you. The one who laughs a certain way, dreams big, and makes a funny dance when no one’s watching.
Too often, we spend our lives trying to fit in—trying to be liked, accepted, or seen a certain way. We hold back our opinions, downplay our personalities, and shape-shift to meet expectations. But what if motherhood could be the turning point? What if watching our children confidently embrace their growing personalities could inspire us to reconnect with our own authentic selves?
Being YOU is brave.
It takes courage to stop hiding, to show up as your whole self in a world that often wants to label, perfect, and package you. But showing your children what living in integrity looks like is one of the most powerful gifts you can give.
So here’s a little challenge for you—something fun and simple:
Your "Come Home to You" Mini Exercise:
Write down 10 adjectives that describe the real YOU
Not the version you think you should be, but who you are at your core.
Think: funny, creative, grounded, wild, intuitive, ambitious, quirky, generous, playful, bold, ...Now choose just one
Ask yourself: What is one small action I could take today to embody this part of me a little more?If you wrote creative, could you spend 10 minutes doodling or writing?
If you're bold, could you finally speak that truth you've been sitting on?
If you're playful, could you ditch the routine and do something spontaneous with your kids?
Small shifts. Tiny reconnections. Each one a step back to being YOU.
I promise—you’ll be surprised how much lighter and more aligned life feels when you truly honor yourself.
So here’s to being YOU again!
With love,
Isabel
